Fair of St Llúcia

Dear friends, welcome to another year of the Fira de Santa Llúcia, which as you all know is the oldest fair dedicated to Natives scenes and Christmas traditions. This year we celebrate the 227th anniversary of the Fair of St Llúcia. With this motivation we have been working and making for you, and specially for your children, many activities that we hope you like.

It will be the traditional tió figure also at afternoon it would be a parade of the traditional Carrossa de Nadal de Barcelona then a titelles theatre and different performances.

The Fira’s stands are grouped in four sectors by craft:

- - Nativity Scenes and figures: mainly offering accessories for Nativity scenes caves, figures, lights.

- - Greenery and plants: where you can find natural or artificial trees, tiós.

- - Crafts: where you will find all types of hand-made products.

Finally, how to go there?

We recommend to use public transport in order to avoid traffic jams, especially on those days. You could come with car, bike, bus or metro.

Catalonia and Barcelona have become one of the most visited tourist destinations in Spain, knowing please the vast majority of tourists. Barcelona, located between sea and mountain, found a formidable balance: one foot in tradition and the other in the avant-garde, Barcelona has the reputation of being the most cosmopolitan, edgy and modern city of Spain.

After take a delicious coffee in Zurich in Pl.Catalunya you can see the fantastic cristmas lights and the ice rinck. It’s a favolous form to have fun with your friends or your boyfriend/girlfriend.

You can go to the Christmas market in Pl. of the cathedral of Barcelona “Fira de Santa Lucia”, that with their shop postions occupy the square in the old gothic quarter of Barcelona. There you can find a lot christmas decorations and sculptures for the typical crib, alredy you can buy a lot of artesanal prodoucts.

Oh, it’s too late! For have dinner in a good restaurant and with a good service and price, you have some opcions:

Sottovoce: an Italian restaurant. Good price and good food. In shop center GV2.

Marina Moncho’s: In the Vila Olimpica in the port of Barcelona. Good views and good food. You have a special menu in the night that costs 16 euros.

Foz: It's a restaurant of catalan food. It’s a delicious place to go with friends and with or your couple. It’s a beautiful place and so elegant with a good price.

After, a good place for have to fun is Opium or Sutton. Sutton is located in the upper area of Barcelona, Sutton and Opium has become, since the inauguration the fashionable nightclub in Barcelona. Opium is behind the port of Barcelona.

From colorful bars, outdoor cafes, chocolate shops, also have a variety of bars: cocktail, whiskey bars (often singles bars with professional escorts), tapas, champagne and beer bars.

All you to do in Barcelona will like it, I'm sure.

Luxury shops in Passeig de Gràcia

In this post we talk about one of the best important Streets in Barcelona. His name is ‘’Passeig de Gràcia’’ this is the most luxury street in the city. These are popular shops for the medium/high class of the population.

This street is most important for the economy in Barcelona for his big tourism and purchases made.

We find buildings modernist in the city as Casa Batllo and La Pedrera.

Some of them are: Prada, Tiffany & Co, Louis Vuitton, Yves Saint Laurent and Jimmy Choo.

Prada is an Italian fashion company. The shop offers to his customers the ready-to-wear collections for men and women, plus leather goods, accessories and footwear. And the facade harmoniously combines tradition of the brand with modernity of inside the boutique. The entrance and the windows show the typical brand elements such as black metal and polished copper. These materials are supplemented with iron columns.

Tiffany & Co

Is a very important brand of jewellery from New York. The brand has been synonymous with luxury and style. Mr.Tiffany led his company’s growth from a New York City legend to a jeweler of international renown.

For the best and beautiful jewels you must stop on Tiffany&Co.

Tibidabo amusement park

The Tibidabo is an amusement park that is located in the mountain of Collserola, in Barcelona. It is popular for its great views of the city and its natural spaces, which are used for recreational purposes.

Tibidabo is Spain's oldest amusement park, where you can enjoy more than 25 attractions:

From the most symbolic as "the airplane "(which is the logo of the park and one of the first flight simulators), the "Watchtower" and the "Carrousel", until to the most modern attractions as “Dididado” (which is the first 4D Theater of Catalonia), the new roller coaster and the "Miramiralls" (an attraction that won an architecture prize).

You can climb to Tibidabo in private vehicles and public transport, as for example in bus, funicular or in the popular blue tram opened in 1901.

It is an amusement park that is worth knowing. You can't

visit Barcelona without going to see it.

You can't leave Barcelona without have visited ''Sagrada Familia’'. It’s one

of the examples more known of the catalan modernism and it’s a very important Barcelona symbol. It’s an unfinished work of the Catalan architect Antoni Gaudí. It’s in the neighborhood of the Sagrada Familia, in Eixample district of the city.

Also it's famous the '' Parc Güell'' located in ''Calle de Olot'' and ''La pedrera'' located in ''Calle Provença''. The two beautiful architecture was made by Gaudí.

The first is a large garden decorated with architectural elements. It’s situated on the upper part of Barcelona, near Tibidabo. It was inaugurated as a public park in 1926.

The second is called ‘’Casa Milà’’, but it’s known as ‘’La Pedrera’’. It’s situated in Passeig de Gràcia. It is considered as an innovate work.

''Plaça Catalunya'' it's known by all the people. This is located in the center of Barcelona. You can find shops and restaurants. It's one of the most turistic sites in Barcelona.
